Sanssouci, with its 290 acres of park and its many castles of different styles, is one of the most beautiful parks in Germany.

Many visitors come for that very reason to Potsdam to visit Sanssouci. The park of Sanssouci (frz. sans souci = no care) is a creation of the building and garden art that is not generate happen overnight, but over many centuries. 1744 Frederick the Great built the Sanssouci Palace and the surrounding Eastern Park facility.
